What role is “Hardstyle Kettlebell training” playing in Aakash’s life?
Recently one of my PT Clients Aakash shared his testimonial with me in writing which I believe will definitely inspire you to take up “Hardstyle Kettlebell Training” and in the process learn StrongFirst’s Strength Training Principles. “I am 10 sessions in with Jazzy G Sir.
A bit of background :
I got a bad case of covid in March 2021. It left me completely bedridden and weak for about 5 months introducing never before experienced conditions like
1. Neuropathy
2. Avascular Necrosis
3. Tennis elbow
4. Sharp lower back pain
5. Weight Gain
Some of these emerged from high use of steroids administered while in hospital, and some due to weight gain resulting from post covid recovery.
I had been (badly) doing Kettlebells for 4 years with no proper form – just average results.
Enter, sigining up with Coach Jasbinder Singh Gulati.
a. Within the first 4 sessions, my overall posture had started improving.
b. Withing first 6-7 sessions (one and a half month), I had lost a bunch of weight.
c. Most importantly, I’ve gotten stronger over the course of last two months. Strength – not just in swinging, squatting with Kettlebells – but in other areas of life too.
I run once every 2 days, and my overall mobility is better.
Grip strength is better.
Back pain is as good as gone.
Tennis elbow is gone.
There is a certain structure that the body starts taking after serious kettlebell use – and it looks good with clothes on.
I haven’t been seriously focussing on my diet – eating pretty much everything (I eat bread on weekends) from eggs to some sugar, to some junk food and these results are despite my diet.
I intend to clean up my act – and sign up for atleast 2 more full courses with Jazzy G.
Best money I have invested in last 3 years or so.
